Discover the extraordinary features of SuperMaser telescopes:

Comparison of the dimensions of the three Supermaser telescopes produced by the Reginato company in the mountains.

SUPERMASER DIAMETERS

The SUPERMASER is a very reliable super transportable altazimuth telescope made entirely in metal.

The SUPERMASER has the optical tube with 16 serrurier type cross-connected quick release trusses thus, it can be dismantled in three distincet parts: top ring, central ring and breech with primary mirror.

The heaviest part of the 20″ (510mm diameter) SUPERMASER weighs just 21 Kg, while the 24″ (610mm diameter) part weighs just 26.5 Kg!!

All the assembly phases have been carefully studied, making the operation extremely easy thanks to mechanical devices that do not need screws or keys; all connections are easy and quick to perform and the time required for this operation is a few minutes.

SUPERMASER telescopes can be assembled , disassembled and loaded into a car, safely, by one person.

Thanks to the accuracy and precision of the joints combined with the exclusive and practical quick-release system of the trusses, mechanical and optical adjustments are not absolutely necessary.

Mechanical stability: very high, unattainable from any wooden frame. Thanks to the special altazimuth steel frame combined with a crossed double-truss optical tube (Serrurier type) entirely in aluminium alloy, SUPERMASER telescopes are almost free of vibrations during focusing, even at high magnifications

Fluidity and precision in pointing: incredible fluidity of movements thanks also to the finely adjustable clutches, unparalleled by any Dobson construction, disengagement from fluid and smooth movement; no sign of return to release even at high magnifications. Any person can manually track an object without any discomfort. All parts that make up the movements are operated at very tight tolerances and are mounted on ball bearings.

Maintenance of optical collimation: excellent. Thanks to the ball quick couplings of the trusses, the Newton SUPERMASER telescopes do not need to be retouched after installation; even after several years of use and various installation and replacement operations, the telescope continues to maintain optimum optical collimation.

Discomforts in assembly: absolutely none.    SUPERMASER telescopes have a small size when disassembled, with exceptional ease of assembly without the use of spanners, screws or knobs.

Optical performance: very high, both in the deep sky and on planetary objects, thanks to the accuracy in optical processing combined with refined mechanical cells. The SUPERMASER telescopes are the only ones of their kind to have a real steel fork that ensures unbeatable stability.

Thermal stabilization: SUPERMASER portable telescopes are made of aluminium with very high thermal conductivity compared to conventional Dobson wooden telescopes, which results in much faster acclimatization times, and 3 holes for self-ventilation are also available on the protective housing of the primary mirror. On request, (see optional equipment) cooling units can be installed to further speed up the thermal stabilization time.

Warranty, durability and devaluation: the all-metal frame and coating with polyurethane primer and enamel make it an extremely durable instrument; that is why its devaluation over time is also very low. Only the coating on the primary mirror has a limited life span, about 8-15 years in normal use situations; however, the cost of re-coating is moderate. The warranty on all mechanical parts for instruments sold in Italy is 5 years.
